Tourism: how Ghana is burried under tons of plastic waste

3,000 tons of plastic waste are generated every day in Ghana, according to a report by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). Most of this garbage are spilled on the beaches and in the streets. Less than 2% of them are recycled. These mountains of trashes slow the development of tourism and damage the ecosystem.
